ELIGIBILITY
Artists must be 18 or older and live in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Vermont or Ontario in Canada. Work over 5 years old or shown before in any Arnot Art Museum exhibition is not eligible. There is a maximum of two entries per artist.
THEME
Although the Arnot Art Museum maintains a primary focus on representational art, the Museum welcomes the submission of non-objective work for the Regional Exhibitions.
MEDIA
All painting and drawing, media, sculpture, graphics, photography, clay, textiles, jewelry, wood or metal work, and mixed media are eligible for entry. Works should not exceed 96 inches in any dimension or weigh more than 150 pounds. Works must be framed or otherwise ready for hanging/installation. Artists proposing to submit work requiring specialized installation should confer with Museum staff before the entry deadline.

Images must be submitted as JPG files, no fewer than 480 pixels in the smaller dimension, at 300 dpi. Artists with 3D work should submit 2 views of each entry, e.g. front and back, or full view and a significant detail. A work will be disqualified if the digital image(s) misrepresent the work in quality or form. Files should be named as follows: LastNameFirstInitial_WorkTitle.jpg. Untitled works should use descriptions of the work in place of the title in the file name. Two examples for image file submissions are: SmithJ_Weightless.jpg or RamirezE_UntitledPortrait.jpg.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The Arnot Art Museum reserves the right of review for inclusion of all works submitted for the exhibition, and the Museum maintains final approval over the installation design. The entry of any work to the exhibition is an agreement by the artist to the conditions of this prospectus. No accepted work may be withdrawn by the artist before the close of the exhibition.
For insurance purposes, artists whose accepted works are valued over $1000 must provide evidence of the stated value in the form of a recent sales receipt for a similar work. Unless works are noted as not-for-sale, sales are encouraged and a 40% commission will be taken on sales made during the exhibition.
